Memories in Frames began as an editorial exploration into the world of film photography. At its heart, this project reflects on how we capture and preserve memory—tactile, imperfect, and deeply personal. It evolved from a book into a larger curatorial experience, extending into a digital archive and physical exhibition.

The Book
The journey began with a book that explores why capturing everyday life in photographs matters, especially through film. Film photography asks us to slow down. With its limitations, it forces intentionality, and its imperfections echo the fragility of memory itself.
This book combines my own photographs with the work of other film photographers I admire. Alongside curated images are stories, contact sheets, and behind-the-scenes visuals that emphasize the tactile, reflective process of shooting on film. The editorial design amplifies this experience, inviting readers to flip through moments that feel both familiar and deeply personal.

The Website
As film deteriorates over time, digital preservation becomes essential. To extend the life and reach of the project, I created MemoriesInFrames.com—a website that serves as a living archive of the book's content.
The site presents scanned film photographs and the stories behind them, preserving the emotional tone of the printed book while offering a minimalist, user-friendly digital experience. Like the book, the platform features a mix of my work and that of other film photographers, celebrating analog photography as a collective memory practice.

The Exhibition
The final stage of the project is an exhibition—this time featuring only my own work. Installed in a quiet, contemplative space, the exhibition invites viewers to step into my perspective and trace the emotional threads that run through my images.
Unlike the collaborative nature of the book and website, the exhibition is a personal reflection—an opportunity to connect with viewers face-to-face and share the deeply human impulse to document, remember, and feel.
